The photography of Daido Moriyama has positioned him as one of the most influential, yet controversial photographers of the 20th century. Castelli is proud to have framed and delivered work of quite possibly the most famous photographer in Japanese history.
A wide range of his photos will be on view in an upcoming show at Prism Gallery LA. Typical of Moriyama's work, the nuances and point of view of the subject matter he addresses are completely worth a view with your own two eyes. The show runs July 12th to August 12th

Myles Lee at the Carmel Foundation
July 2013
"Once not seen, seen but once, seen no more" sums up the photography of Dr. Myles Lee. A ripple in the water, a pattern in the sand, or a glimpse in time of how light plays with a particular moment are the subjects of his work. Castelli is honored to have had a hand in printing and helping prepare his oeuvre for presentation in his upcoming one-man exhibit of Point Lobos.
It's certainly recommended if you are near Carmel (between August 1st & August 31st) to go see Dr. Lee's photos on display. With one view, it will be easy to understand how he gives "permanence to the evanescent."
